This is a t-shirt I created for 99.7 The Blitz, a local rock radio station. I have been listening to 99.7 The Blitz since I was seven years old, and I heard they were having a t-shirt design contest for a summer concert series. I had a few designs in mind, but I decided to go with a speaker with lightning and sound waves expanding outward. The design represents the energetic connection between the bands and the crowd. In a way, I wanted to show the passion and energy of the audience reverberating back to the bands who perform for them. I ended up winning the contest, and I won free concert tickets and the opportunity to have my t-shirts sold throughout the summer festivities. This was one of, if not, my favorite projects because I felt proud of my work, and I felt that I achieved recognition for my efforts. 99.7 The Blitz even announced my name on the radio and plugged my portfolio, so that was a plus.
